Santa Monica: Earth Books, 1977. First issue. Black and white photographs by Lawrence Robbin. Two 33 1/3 records in sleeve. Very good condition with some minor rubs to album cover.
Scarce album of Charles Bukowski recording his poetry in his Hollywood apartment in 1966. The recording, "90 Minutes in Hell" was finally released as this limited edition LP record in 1977.
We acquired this album from its original owner, who got from Bukowski himself. It is inscribed to the prior owner and his then-girlfriend, and boldly signed by Bukowski. Written provenance giving a brief account of the evening at Bukowski's when this album was inscribed is included.
