A portfolio of 22 individually letterpress-printed poems by Beat poets such as Diane di Prima, Neeli Cherkovski, Harold Norse, Lawrence Ferlinghetti, and others. This is portfolio #6 in a limited edition of 75 copes, with each poem signed by its author.
William T. Vollmann's contribution is a color print housed in its own envelope. There are also original artworks by Soheyl Dahi, Neeli Cherkovski and one other whose initials are J. A. H.
From the publisher: "This is a gathering of the Beats, younger and elder, in the wild and bleak days at the beginning of the 21st century in the last empire. Artists have answered the call and come together to once again renew their sense of community. The bombs are raining down and the children's screams are heard.
