Contains the first published appearance of "Citizenship in a Republic"-- Theodore Roosevelt's deservedly famous 'man in the arena' speech--which was delivered by invitation at the Sorbonne on April 23, 1910.

Very good. A utilitarian tan cloth over boards binding with spine titled in black, patterned endpapers. Small library plate on front pastedown. Minor rubs to extremities. Hinges sound.
