Large, scarce lithograph depicting the now legendary hotel El Tovar on the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. Akin painted this scene in 1906--thirteen years prior to the area's National Park designation--to promote the new lodge. The El Tovar opened in 1905 and was accessible on the Santa Fe Railroad. Excellent condition in original frame. Stunning.
