The Old Man and the Sea
New York: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1952. First edition. Octavo. Cloth over boards. Near fine in a near fine dust jacket. Jacket has few tiny rubs and a short closed tear at top of upper joint fold. Jacket spine ever so lightly browned.
The fine piece of writing that finally won Hemingway a major literary prize--the Pulitzer in 1953. First editions in collectable condition are getting rather tough to find...yet, here is one.
