Artist John Shirley-Fox's pleasant fishing memories nicely illustrated with reproductions of his drawings as full page plates and chapter heads.
This copy has a wonderful original ink drawing by Shirley-Fox on front free endpaper. It depicts a handsome trout rising for a fly. This original illustration is signed "J. Shirley-Fox" and dated 1924.
