Some minor extremity rubs, light external soil, some diagonal wrinkles to lower fore corner of textblock, and a few short closed tear of about .25" at bottom edge of about half the leaves.
This interesting Haldeman-Julius pamphlet reprints part of the rich collection of cabalistic works gathered by the 18th century French bibliophile, René-Louis de Voyer de Paulmy. It is a collection of spells, potions, incantations, etc., aimed at matters of seduction, sex, love, and marriage.
Here you may learn how to cause a chosen person to fall in love with you, how to make a woman confess, how to see the person you will marry to appear in a dream, how to use the urine of a she-mule to prevent conception, and much more. Includes some counter-measures to combat some of the spells described. Quite scarce.
