Front hinge apparently re-glued at some point, small split at rear hinge.
Contents include selection, care, and rigging of the rod, the art of casting, trout habits, the angler's flies and how to tie them, description of trout-fly patterns, and an appendix classifying flies according to body color of the described artificial flies.
Includes an envelope containing two old trout flies on #10 hooks. Dr. Parker was an American surgeon, angler, and writer on angling.
