This uncommon literary pictorial map of the United States is labeled with prominent book titles and authors in each state. There are many vignettes depicting local scenes associated with the featured books. There are inset maps of the Boston, Chicago, and New York areas.
Amy Jones was a native of Buffalo, NY and studied at the Pratt Institute Art School in Brooklyn. She painted murals in post offices for the WPA artist program in the 1930s.
