Bound in two colors of cloth with spine and upper boards titled in dark green, color illustration laid down on upper board, top edge gilt. A couple of minor extremity bumps to boards. Jacket has some light soil and a couple of closed edge tears. Publisher's box has some separations along joints, extremity rubs, and some moderate soil.

A very detailed study of the evolution of wallpaper from the sixteenth century onward. Introduction by Henri Clouzot, Conservateur du Musee Galliera, Paris. Printed from type in a limited edition of unstated number and the type then distributed. Comes in the original publisher's box.
