Bound in black cloth over boards with gilt-stamped spine titles. Minor extremity wear. Jacket has a few shallow extremity chips, light soil to rear panel, and slight edge rubs. Separation along upper joint fold neatly taped from back side.

Signed first edition of Ray Bradbury's first book, a collection of 21 tales of the weird and fantastic, published by Arkham House. Publisher's jacket blurb compares the young Bradbury to H. P. Lovecraft. Signed by Bradbury on front free endpaper beneath the name of a prior owner. Colophon states 3,000 copies in this first printing.
