Gritty collection of Weegee's famous street photographs of New York City in the 1940s. Weegee worked at night with a 4x5 Speed Graphic press camera, closely following a police scanner. He specialized in crime and violence.
This copy has been inscribed and signed by Weegee on the dedication page in his trademark green ink.
