The History of the Navy of the United States of America

London: Richard Bentley, 1839. First British edition. Black and white engraved plates. Quarter leather, marbled paper sides. Octavo. Two volumes in one, xii, 456 & xii, 559 pages. Near fine. Paulison (name pencilled at top of title page) and William Bennett Cogar (embossed monogram).
