A group of eight vividly descriptive letters from the battlefield and from Washington during the Civil War. Bloor was an architect and a gifted writer, and travelled with the Army of the Potomac in Virginia as Assistant Secretary of the U. S. Sanitary Commission.

Very good. Lower fore corner of first few leaves creased and a bit rumpled, some light foxing, else fine.
