Scarce booklet from World War II, describing the variety of entertainments then available to the soldier or sailor stationed in Southern California. Includes info on sights, both high and low brow. Illustrated throughout with drawings by Ellis. None of the places mentioned by the compiler paid to be included. A few period clippings laid in along with a 3 1/4" x 4 1/2" black and white snapshot of two young women in pants and bras, circa 1952 based on date stamped on back.
