Ruins of Baltimore Fire, Feb. 11th, 1904
Baltimore: W. J. Groeninger, 1904. Black and white photograph. Approximately 7 3/4" x 9 3/4" photograph on a 9 3/4" x 12 5/8" mount. Very good condition. Top left corner of mount is chipped off to a depth of perhaps 1/2". One faint stain runs vertically down the image. Old dampstains show on the back of the mount.
Large format photograph showing 13 men standing amid the ruins of the Great Baltimore Fire of 1904. Each man is identified in the lower margin of the mount. Most are fire officials or City officials from out of state, including the FIre Chiefs from both Philadelphia, PA and Louisville, KY, along with the Mayor of Reading, PA.
