Beautiful copy of this classic, with 12 full page color plates by Arthur Rackham. This is #38 of 200 copies in the American edition, and is SIGNED by Rackham under the limitation statement on verso of half title. Bound in full vellum with gilt-stamped titles and rules on spine and upper board, top edge gilt.

Very good. There is a scuff mark to center of upper board and a few tiny flakes to gilt rule at fore edge. Prior ownership signature of Barbara Warden Lingelbach on recto of frontispiece, dated 1954.
