Bound in tan cloth over boards with gilt-stamped spine and upper board titles, top edge gilt, illustration of a hand holding cards in red, white, and black on upper board. Slight rubs and fraying to spine ends, shallow bumps to fore corners. Hinges tender, with splitting to endpapers along same.

Charming little book on the history, strategies, and rules of poker. Preface notes that the book was written in 4 months, to win a bet. The author, a noted American comedic actor, weeks after completion of the book.
