Souvenir of the Lincoln Centennial Association's 1910 banquet. Booker T. Washington was the principal speaker of the evening, giving an address on some results of Abraham Lincoln's Emancipation Proclamation. The text of this booklet is mainly comprised of an early print appearance of Vachel Lindsay's memorial poem to Abraham Lincoln titled 'The Heroes of Time' takes up much of the booklet. In addition the menu for the banquet is reprinted along with a roster of incorporators and officers of the Lincoln Centennial Association.

Bound in red limp suede yapp covers over sewn binding, with gilt-stamped red leather title label on front cover. Moderate chipping to fore edges of covers, mild toning to interior. Very good overall.
