New York: Printed for the Author [Hillacre Book House], 1913. Limited Edition, one of 500 copies printed. Printed wraps in slipcase. Octavo. 48 pages.

Reed's lively and satirical tour through Greenwich Village in the early 1910s. His sharp, bemused eye captures the world of its poets, painters, sculptors, writers, and hangers-on with affection, wit, and a touch of mockery. Written in verse.

This is an early experiment in social reportage by the same eye that would later capture so adeptly the opening of the Russian Revolution in 'Ten Days that Shook the World.'

Designed and printed for Reed in an edition of 500 copies by Frederick Conrad Bursch at his press, Hillacre Book House of Riverside, Connecticut.

Near fine in a near fine slipcase with printed title label on slipcase spine. A few minor extremity rubs and shallow bumps. An excellent copy.
