Bound in dark blue cloth over boards with gilt-stamped spine and upper board, circular monochrome profile laid down on upper board, top edge gilt, fore edge untrimmed. Christmas gift inscription from 1913 on front free endpaper. A few rubs to perimeter of portrait onlay, and a few minor rubs to binding extremities, otherwise fine.
