Near fine. Bound in ribbed pale green cloth over boards with gilt-stamped titles to spine and upper board, portrait onlay to upper board. Minor rubs to binding extremities, a few scattered spots inside. Christmas 1908 gift inscription pencilled to front free endpaper, with additional owner name neatly penned at top edge of front pastedown. Some chipping to fore edge of first leaf of publisher ads at rear. Overall a clean, sound, and attractive copy of this classic.
