San Francisco: Privately Printed, 1919. First Edition. Black & white photographs. Original cloth. Octavo. 117 pages.

He participated in the Battle of Argonne. He survived the war and was able to contribute a Preface to this collection. Lovely typography. Printed by Bruce Brough, San Francisco. Contemporaneous Christmas card from the author's parents is tipped to front free endpaper.

Near Fine. Bound in tan pebbled cloth over boards with titling stamped in brown on spine, top edge gilt. Bookplate of San Francisco banker and businessman John Dempster McKee on front pastedown. A few spots of minor wear to board edges. Front hinge neatly and expertly strengthened with Japanese tissue.
