London: Christopher Johnson, (1952). First Edition. Hardcover. Octavo. 112 pages.
A medical doctor's alarmed look at the rise in marijuana use in Britain following World War II. This is apparently the first English book on the subject of marijuana as a recreational drug. Johnson compares its use with other drugs of addiction, and includes a chapter on "Marihauana in the United States."
