Translation of the textbook prepared by the Nazis in 1937 for use by some 7,000,000 young people in the Hitler youth organization. Translator Harwood Childs contributes a Preface to this volume, and former Ambassador Dodd offers an answer to the Nazi Primer in a Commentary titled "The Bible of a Political Church."
This is an early printing, with an original review by John Chamberlain clipped from the September 7, 1938 issue of New Republic laid in. Front endpapers illustrated with facsimiles of original German edition's front cover and title page.
Near fine in custom Mylar cover. Bound in gray cloth over boards with spine and upper board titled in red with gray patterned rules and borders. Mild soil to lower board, touch of rubbing to extremities. Clean and sound overall.
