Rare cookbook produced by the British Ladies' Committee of Havana to raise funds for war relief of air raid victims back in England. The recipes are printed parallel in both Spanish and English on facing pages. Lots of vintage advertising as well.
Color frontispiece cartoon by noted Cuban cartoonist Conrado Massaguer, depicting Winston Churchill as a chef at the stove basting a plucked Adolf Hitler above the caption, "Cooking His Goose."

Printed paper covers, yapp edges. Near fine. Covers show a few minor stains and extremity rubs along with light soil. Lower fore corner of front cover creased.
