Includes the complete text of "Alice's Adventure's in Wonderland," annotated with commentary on what Frensch sees as references to psychedelic drugs and their effects. Two introductory pieces on "Alice..." and its author explore the possibility of Carroll's experience with hallucinogens. Includes a glossary of 1960s-era psychedelic drug terms.

This copy is inscribed and signed by Frensch in the year of publication on the dedication page. The inscription is two one of the people to whom the book is dedicated.


Fine in a near fine dust jacket. Bound in red cloth over boards with gilt-stamped spine title. No significant wear to book. Jacket has a few minor edge wrinkles at spine ends. Bright clean copy.
