Assignment in Eternity

Reading: Fantasy Press, (1953). First Printing. Cloth over boards. Octavo. 256 pages.

A collection of four loosely connected novellas that explore human potential and evolution. These stories--which are “Gulf,” “Elsewhen,” “Lost Legacy,” and “Jerry Was a Man”--explore themes of superhuman abilities, alternate realities, and the rights of genetically engineered beings.

Nice first edition in first state binding of brick red cloth with gilt stamped spine (Currey, binding A). Dust jacket illustrated by Ric Binkley.

Ref. CURREY p. 232.

Near fine in a near fine dust jacket. Slight lean to spine. Fore corners sharp, gilt stamping on spine remains bright and crisp. Jacket has slight extremity wear and one small (1/8" diameter) spot of rubbing to front cover. A bright, lovely copy overall.
