Centennial tribute to Abraham Lincoln, including a mounted medal by the master French-American sculptor and medal engraver of the era, Jules Edouard Roiné.
Text includes a biography of Roiné, a history of the medal, and a large number of excellent tributes to Lincoln. The Roiné medal measures slightly more than 3 cm in diameter, features Lincoln's full face on the obverse, text on the reverse, and is inserted into a thick, die-cut pasteboard mount that reveals both sides.

Bound in red cloth over boards with gilt-stamped spine and upper board titles. A circular illustration of medal is inset on upper board within a blind-stamped wreath. A few tiny extremity rubs, else fine, with gilt titling remaining bright.
