Tom Sawyer Island opened in 1956, just a year after Disneyland itself. This early promotional map brochure was produced in 1957, and features a great pictorial map of the island on one side and descriptions of its attractions on the other. This early map mentions the Fishing Pier, which was a short-lived attraction where guests could borrow a pole and catch real fish.
