Suite of four prints by Ben Shahn, each signed and numbered by him, depicting Frederick Douglass at a different stage of his monumental life. These were reproduced by the Museum of African Art in Washington, DC to benefit its Frederick Douglass Institute of Negro Arts and History. The original drawings were reproduced by photo-silkscreen, and Shahn signed and numbered each print in red conte crayon at lower left.
