[Baltimore]: 1792. Single sheet. 6" x 7 3/4" To old folds, some browning, a tissue-repaired tear along one fold. Near fine overall.

This is a 1792 writ issued by the Justices of Baltimore County Court to then Sheriff, Rob Gorsuch, ordering the arrest of one John Perrigo for breaking into the property of one Josias Green and damaging his grass and trees.

Partly printed, executed by hand. Endorsed on verso: "389 / Josias Green vs. John Perrigo", etc. Signed by William Gibson, Clerk of the court. A nice example of a late 18th century Maryland legal document.
