Bound in printed yellow paper covers with top fore corner of front cover lower fore corner of back cover chipped. The booklet appears to have been bent horizontally from spine about a third of the way up from bottom edge, which resulted in a clean tear affecting the rear cover and final three leaves. This is the first separate printing of Theodore Roosevelt's address at the Sorbonne on April 23, 1910, now popularly known as the "Man in the Arena" speech.
