This is the first state of the first printing, with no "First Edition" statement. Called for point on page 44.
Bound in green paper over boards with dark green cloth spine, patterned endpapers. Gilt paper label inset on upper board reproduces the frontispiece illustration.
Ref. CLYMER, p. 42; AHEARN, APG vol. II, 012a.
Fine in a very good dust jacket. There is some mild browning to jacket and a few tears expertly repaired from back side with archival tissue. A few shallow edge chips but no significant loss.
