A cycle of 22 poems about trees by a descendant of German woodworkers who settled the southern Indiana forests he hunted as a boy. This is #133 of 150 copies, signed by Krapf at colophon. Illustrated with 9 lovely wood engravings by John de Pol, who also did the decorative paper covers. An envelope addressed by the author to a prior owner is laid in, containing a pre-publication announcement for the book and an announcement from the publisher for its poetry broadsides, and an announcement from a different publisher for one of the author's other books..
