A collection of nine occult detective short stories featuring psychic detective Carnicki. William Hope Hodgson produced a large body of work in horror, fantastic fiction, and science fiction in his relatively short life. He was killed in World War I.
Bound in black cloth over boards with gilt-stamped spine. Touch of browning along endpaper gutters, a couple of faint horizontal wrinkles to cloth on upper board. Jacket has slightest of edge wear and a touch of browning to spine. Near fine in a near fine dust jacket. Clean and tight overall.
