A stunning edition of Jane Austen's classic novel of English manners, courtship, and wit at the turn of the 19th century.
This edition has six full page drawings by Christiana Mary Demain Hammond. Title page is printed in black and red. The beautiful art nouveau binding was designed by Talwin Morris, incorporating peacock feathers in gray and green and curved lines in gray. Binding "signed" by Morris with his initials in Morse Code on both boards. Gilt titles on spine and upper board remain bright, as do the other decorative elements. A brighter and tighter copy than usually seen.
