A List of the Qualified Voters, of the City of Annapolis

Annapolis: R. R. Goodman, Printer, 1869. Single sheet. 28 1/4" x 10 1/2" Sheet has been folded, so there is some wear and occasional slight loss at fold intersections, and some tears along some folds. All names and other content still legible. Very good condition overall.

Original printed list of qualified voters in Annapolis--i.e., U.S. citizens who were male, white, and residents of the city--as of September 27, 1869. There are 652 names on the list, broken down into alphabetical segments, which includes all the prominent men in the town at the time. Many of these names are very familiar to those interested in Annapolis history during the Civil War period. Also listed are the names of 60 voters who have been stricken from the Registration Book due to death, moving away, or other disqualifications.
