1959 Royal Futura 800 Manual Typewriter
Excellent condition in original carrying case. Handle of case is worn.
The Royal Futura typewriter, designed by Laird Fortune Covey in 1957, differed from previous Royal models in its curved aerodynamic shape and aluminum body panels. The 800 was the most expensive and full-featured of the Futura line, and sold new for today's equivalent of $1000. This one, serial #2A4134039 manufactured in 1959, sports the two-tone Mist Gray color scheme. A lovely machine.
