Illustrated trade catalogue and priced parts list for Colt handguns, circa 1906. The page for the Automatic Colt Pistol Military Model Calibre .45 is stamped at top "NOT READY FOR DELIVERY." This was the gun that became the beloved Model 1911 when adopted by the US Army in that year.
