Bound in white cloth over boards with gilt-stamped spine, orange topstain. Slight dampstain to cloth at heel of spine, but no evidence to interior. / Jacket has a few slight edge rubs and a bit of staining at bottom edge along heel of spine.
An extraordinary novel set in the midst of political upheaval at the beginning of the Irish War of Independence in the summer of 1919. Was awarded the Lost Man Booker for 1970 in 2010. Review copy with publisher's slip laid in.
