Bound in sienna-colored cloth over boards with gilt spine titles on black, gilt-ruled title blocks, gilt-stamped vignette of a jumping horse on upper board. Neat prior ownership name dated 1945 on front free endpaper. Scarce dust jacket has shallow chips at spine ends and fore corners, a .25" hole at bottom edge of rear panel near heel of spine, and some mild stains and soil overall.
One of the best practical books on jumping. Capt. Littauer was a graduate of the Nicholas Cavalry School in St. Petersburg before heading a large riding school in America. Edited by Phyllis French. One of 950 unnumbered copies. SIEGEL #54.
