This copy (#798) was presented to Pennsylvania's first female Secretary of Health, Dr. Edith McBride-Dexter, with her name stamped in gilt at lower margin of upper board. The printing herein of Roosevelt's address to the New York Democratic State Convention at Syracuse on September 29, 1936 is likely its first published appearance in book form. HALTER T119.
